About the Author

J. M. Ashmore is a retired pediatric nurse and children’s author from sunny Tampa, Florida. She writes gentle, faith-filled picture books that help young readers understand God’s character through memorable animal adventures. Her Fruit of the Spirit series is cherished by preschoolers through third graders for its warm storytelling, biblical truth, and encouraging lessons. When she isn’t writing, Janet enjoys teaching in children’s church, visiting local nature centers, and creating activities that help kids grow in confidence and kindness.
