Within Homo sapiens' time on Earth, what have we learned? Because of our sciences and abilities to interpret prehistoric earthly happenings and recordings of very early humans, modern humanity should have learned much. We know much of history from writings, script, and hieroglyphs, but much learning eludes modern civilizations, causing us to repeat historical maladies. Interpretation and learning from the past could reinforce behaviors that benefit humankind and the Earth on which we must live.

“When will We Learn?” poignantly points out the advantages that modern civilizations could have had if mistakes and corrections from ancient civilizations were heeded. Our current humanitarian progress should be far ahead of standing starvations, impoverishments, wars, territorial greed, and tyrannical control of humans in subservient environments.
About the Author
Bob Barr was a professional pilot for his career, which included military and civilian flying. He flew several types of aircraft in the Air Force, which included 309 combat missions in Vietnam. The missions earned the Distinguished Flying Cross and 14 Air Medals. His civilian flying was for the largest oil service company in the world, which had Dick Cheney as the CEO for five years. World-wide flying was required, which gives perspective and philosophy of foreign cultures, countries, and governments. Flying duties included pilot, senior captain, and chief pilot. Bob’s background includes BS, MA, and MBA degrees, and his flying certificates include Airline Transport Pilot, ATP, instructor certificates, type ratings, and air traffic control certificate.
