Seven Seasons of Forgiveness and Surrender

Prior to each contributor’s comments, I offered a brief Haiku. Why? Because in each solicits a moment of calm and discernment in a way that many of us would never consider. What followed in each instance are words to embrace the Seven Gifts of the Holy Spirit. Subscribe ourselves as such and there exists freedom from all the things in our lives that might impale us and drive us away from those and those things that matter most…faith, family, and fortitude. As a reminder, the Buddhist who fractioned his/her practice did so with the following precepts…selflessness, loneliness, grateful acceptance, wordlessness, non-intellectuality, humor, freedom, non-morality, simplicity, materiality, love and courage. The symmetry between both is arresting. Can you feel and sense that at our core…the core of our beliefs, that we share so much more than one would think. I cannot imagine what the world would look like if there were a full, non-judgmental and integration pf the world’s religions…great and small as they may be an amalgam of spiritual sensitivities. To surrender and forgive; to forgive and surrender; each one an exercise in reawakening a spirit that has remained dormant in far too many of us.
