About the Book

Dear Reader: You hold in your hand a compilation of the longings, angsts, disappointments, and little triumphs of an obscure little girl from the Philippines. She has grown up and is able to publish despite fears of criticism. Some thoughts were penned 60 years ago. I o er them to you and invite you to rejoice with me on this adventure. Let the book sing, even silently in your heart. After all, this is a book of feelings. May the words and images spark gratitude and appreciation for life and the talents we each have.

About the Author

Lilia Claude is a retired federal government employee. She was a radio-television announcer in the Philippines where she hails from. As a preschool teacher, she delighted her preschool pupils climbing the monkey bar with them. Her most poignant connection was the learning assistance center coordinator in a medium security facility. Lilia calls Maryland home where she continues to write Vignettes, Verses, Views, and Stories while practicing Shodo, Japanese calligraphy.
