About the Author

Dalton Pezoldt developed his passion for art as a young boy in a small town in Montana with the motivation from his mother and father. He believed his drawing skills were an extension to his imagination and would love to inspire other artists to create what they feel. He is now married with two beautiful daughters, so it can get interesting at his household as he feels quite outnumbered! Any sort of free time is focused on his second instagram business page, thedigital_portrait, as a realism portrait artist/illustrator. His first instagram was widely successful with more than 25,000 people following and growing. Upon that success, his page was hacked and deleted. Devastated, Dalton didn’t take this defeat lightly but made him realize his art made an impact on so many people. It was impossible to give up. He continues to draw and create magic everyday following this book. He hopes to get The Animal ABC’s into the hands of many imaginative children across the world, as the imagination is the best tool that we possess to create wonders. “Coming from such a small town, always being picked on when you have different interests, it felt life changing to have my work admired by many. To have my work printed and hanging in someone’s home, tattooed on someone’s arm is something I never dreamed would happen. It’s a feeling that only can be shown by a smile. My goal is to inspire people to do what you love and to never give up on that goal.”
