I am Powerful and I Know it! I celebrate my awakening and affirm my worth, my joy and my contribution. I decide to live a great day with intention. I remind myself of my potential and my possibilities. I do not have “never” in my vocabulary. I tap into the power already planted in me today to overcome and thrive. I speak kindness and prosperity into those I encounter today, even if they don’t speak it to me. Since I have an abundance of joy, I can share it with others who can’t seem to find their way. I shine brightly today, so brightly that no can dim my glow. I rebuke negative thoughts, negative emotions, negative self-talk and negative energy from myself and anyone else who is in my atmosphere. I do not accept limitations today and I release all the mental barriers keeping me from excellence. I can do this because I am powerful, and I know it.

About the Author
Anita D. Powell is proud to present her first published work. She is a powerful woman of God, with a passion to motivate, encourage and inspire the World to the glory of God. Anita holds a B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering from Hampton University, a J.D in Employment and Labor Law from Temple University, and is currently a Ph. D. student at Liberty University, studying Organizational Psychology. Anita is the Owner and Principal Consultant of the Employee and Labor Relations Academy, a business consulting firm specializing in employment law matters. She is also the Owner of 1Nterprises, LLC, and engages as a motivational speaker and writer. Anita also founded and runs the JWP foundation, which is a non-profit foundation designed to eradicate homelessness and food insecurity. Anita is blessed to have one amazing son, Worthy, and a host of wonderful family and friends. She lives in the DC Metro Area.
