I tried to ignore it, but I just, sort of, couldn’t. Or maybe it was that I just wouldn’t! My mouth felt SO incredibly funny. It was my tongue! YES! It was my tongue that felt sort of . . . GUMMY! (Like rubber!) So, as the day began, into the bathroom I R-A-N! I looked in the mirror. I opened my mouth. I stuck out my tongue. W-H-O-O-A-A-A-A! It was a long one! It touched my NOSE!

About the Book
The Crazy Untamable, Tamable Tongue is a two-part story narrated by a young boy who takes his readers on a one-day journey. He tells about the day he was lazy with his words, speaking without much consideration or thought. In Part I, the boy engages his readers with the story of how his tongue started growing. In Part II, he goes on to tell about the insightful friend who shows up to help him with his predicament. The two embrace a sweet teachable moment. This updated version of The Crazy Untamable, Tamable Tongue is whimsical and sensible. It is an enjoyable and fun story for all, with lessens that children will want to read, or have read to them over and over again. The story is unique in that it can be read with either part or chapter first.
About the Author
Ms. Warren wrote The Crazy Untamable, Tamable Tongue and self-published the children’s story in 2012, as a result of fulfilling what she felt she was gifted and called to do, as a stay-at-home mother, raising her children. Putting her writing aside, Ms. Warren enrolled at the local community college, and slowly began taking classes. Now after receiving her AA degree, in Liberal Studies and graduating Magna Cum Laude (May 2022), Ms. Warren revisited The Crazy Untamable Tamable Tongue, and updated the story to take her readers to a new level of fulfillment and fun.
