From Hate's Haven, the devil sends out evil spirits, his cronies, to lie and deceive. He strains to move people's hearts to live outside God's ways. The devil sends his demons into the world to keep spreading the lies that blind non-believers from accepting the Truth. He sends out demons of every imaginable and unimaginable kind to cause trouble in the lives of God's children…trouble upon trouble, to try and break their faith in God. The devil especially hates God's true followers of Jesus!”
Glancing over at Emily, the driver senses her fear. "Don't be afraid; you are with me; the devil cannot harm you while you are in my presence." Declares the driver with great authority.
The usually quiet driver continues, "The devil is working overtime these days on the youth of this world. He floods the universities with lies. Satan uses the professors to feed the students lies, often so farfetched it's unfathomable that anyone could believe such lies! As a result, many of today's youth, who believed in God while living at home with their parents, turn away from God when they go away to colleges and universities around the country. Parents are left devastated, afraid their children will spend their eternal afterlife in the ever-burning fires of hell! Parents, out of deep-seated fear, painfully cry out to God, pleading for Him to do what needs doing to bring the children back to Jesus. It's heart-retching! These parents, like your mom, brought their children up to know God and His Son, Jesus. So many parents are left broken-hearted, shattered, and crying continually over the final destinations for their children who have stopped believing in Jesus." There is no greater pain for these earthly parents or God!
As the car jolts Emily to one side, she abruptly snaps out from pondering the past. Straightening herself up, she realizes the scenery is changing. The horrible ghostly figures are gone. One thing remains the same; the air is dark and eerie as they drive into a forest. The trees are so thick that only darkness exists. If it weren't for the headlights, nothing but pitch-black darkness would surround them! As they drive deeper into darkness, Emily senses a heaviness in the air, heavy with sadness, like bleeding hearts, grieving hearts crying out in agony.
The people who come here live with a sense of hopelessness. They are ready to end their lives and jump off the cliffs into the darkness of death, the abyss of hell. The lucky ones come here and find help to cope with life's troubles. The devil would love to shut this place down! He works so hard to push people into suicide."
This place suddenly fills Emily's emotional bank to the brink of overflowing. Memories of years gone by creep into her mind. Fortunately, the driver continues telling Emily about Hope Restored Resort, distracting her from her past.
