About the Book

Thirty-eight-year-old Rachael McAdams lives with her husband and two young children in a two-story, brick house in a small neighborhood. She’s heartbroken because her eight-year-old son, her firstborn, lives with autism. The boy can’t talk and wears diapers, probably forever. She wonders where God is. Maybe he could heal her son. Desperate, Rachael calls out to God using a forbidden name, a name that is sacred and only used in deep prayer. Soon after, she begins hearing strange voices and seeing demons. She truly questions her sanity. Rachael is trapped in a world not her own and struggles to do what’s best for her family. Book of Hope 2, a religious fiction novel, tells Rachael’s story of her battle between good and evil.

About the Author

Hope Hearken is a published poet and writer. She resides with her family in North Carolina. This is her second book in the Book of Hope series. The first Book of Hope was published in 2014 and contains details and stories about Rachael McAdams. In this, her second book, Hope returns to the stories about Rachael, adding more content and data about this unique person.
