The Little Tree in God’s Garden

Once upon a time, when God took a walk in the cool of the day, He came upon a sad little tree that lived in the tender grass of His garden. But the little tree was not alone; next to it stood another tree that was big and strong and crowned with many beautiful leaves. And the Lord God loved that big old tree very much for it had always been good and kind and have lived in the tender grass of His garden since the beginning of time. But whatever the case, on this cool morning the Lord God could clearly see that the little tree was very unhappy.
