My Dad died on Thanksgiving Day 1996. Mom lived another 17 years and died August 31, 2013. Mom developed dementia and needed someone to care for her, so in 2005 I moved back to the house I grew up in "home" until I got married in 1968. I do love living here and writing this story from "home".

About the Book
This book was written by the author as she found her Mom’s and Dad’s letters to each other and felt God leading her to write a book. Many people today, especially our younger generation have no idea what being in war mean to to our country and its men and women.
About the Author
The author used letters her Mom and Dad sent to each other while they were late teenagers during WWII. The author’s first book, My Beloved Daughter (pen name Jean Parthat) was published in 2018.
