About the Book

This story is about the parents of a young child who divorce. While the courts have given the father child visitation rights, the parents both have issues. What this story shows is how this young girl deals with her visitation and the remarriage of her father, who now has a baby boy. Hence the title “Through the eyes of Shakira”.

About the Author

Tipper Steve Burton was born in Philadelphia, and attended Simon Gratz H.S. Mr. Burton attended Cheyney State, and Morgan State University Tipper has a bachelor degree in History, and a Masters in Education,and a second Masters in School Administration and Leadership. Tipper has also been in numerous movies, commercials, industrials. Mr. Burton has also promoted shows with well known acts such as Grover Washington, Donald Byrd, Funkadelics, Kooland the gang and others. Tipper taught elementary school for 20 years, 10 in New York and 10 in Wash., DC. He ended his teaching career at Annapolis Middle School, where he was employed for his last 6 years. Mr. Burton plays bass guitar, and tinkers with audio and video production. He is presently retired and focusing on music and writing.
