How Not to Get Divorced

Introduction. Before we get married, we need to get to know a person and their habits to see if we are compatible. Nowadays getting to know someone romantically seems to start earlier and earlier. I have seen 8 and 9-year old acting as if they are lovers and for one, I do not appreciate this because they cannot understand the emotions involved. It seems to me that they are just following what they see around them and on films, T.V etc. unfortunately they are not taught at home or school what romance is and is not. They understand the physical aspects but without the emotion, they cannot understand what marriage or any romantic relationship is really all about. Be a Better You. The first thing that you need to understand is YOU. If you want to have a meaningful relationship with anyone you need to be the best person you can so they will be attracted to you. First of all, you must not think Negatively. Negative Thinking is what can leave you without any friends or romance. You may not be aware of what your body is saying but your body language reflects your thinking. When you hear that inner voice of yours anytime it starts thinking negatively think of other things to say that will give you positive thoughts and this will be reflected in your body language and make you more attractive to other people. Accept Your Flaws. We all come with some things we don't like and we must accept that we are and never will be perfect. All you need to do is accept who you are, which includes those flaws. In some cases what you see as flaws are in fact attractive to others so just accept them and move on. Don't Hang onto Negative Feelings and Memories. We all have experiences that are both positive and negative and they make up the sum total of our life's and emotions. The thing is you need to accept what they are, learn any lessons and move on. Don't allow your past to control your future, if you're able, get past those negative feelings and create a positive future. Some experiences are more difficult to overcome the effects than others and if you find that this is difficult to do, consider talking to a friend or therapist to help you to move past those emotions. Don't dwell on the things you can't change and just change the things you can. The more you stress about something that is outside your control the more you will go deeper into depression.
