Now Digger has a very big job. He is going to dig the basement for the house. He starts in the corner where the water line enters the future basement. He digs and digs to get a basement hole all done for the builders. Scoop and Bubba are there to help with the big job. Digger gets tons of dirt and rocks from the hole and Scoop takes load after load of dirt and rocks to Bubba. Bubba hauls all those loads of dirt and rocks away so there is room to work on the basement.

About the Author
The author owns Digger and each of the friends in the book. He used them when building his house just as depicted on the pages of this book. His grandchildren were the inspiration for this story. DIGGER AND FRIENDS were just the right size when they were little to crawl on and pretend to dig and shovel. They had huge smiles on their faces, which are priceless, and he wanted to share that joy. Doug is a retired pilot who grew up on a farm, worked in construction, and loves building and being outdoors.
