The doctors said, "The next couple of days and hours are critical, he may not make it. If he is fortunate enough to make it, he will have many problems, many difficulties. He will be behind in several ways. He also has WPW, Wolfe Parkinson White. This is an extra electrical pathway in his heart which allows extra electrodes through. At times his heart rate speeds up, it doubles to over three hundred beats per/minute. This takes a lot of energy and strength out of this little body. We will watch to see how it effects him in the long run. I looked at the doctor and very nicely said, "That is my son. He will be fine, and he will develope correctly. He will be perfectly fine. After so many years of wanting a child, I now have a son. There is nothing that can take him from me, nothing!
