About the Author
Deborah Nuss has life-long experience teaching, writing and composing for young children, both in the public schools and the church. A winner of the Iowa Choral Directors Association composition contest, her anthems for adults and children have been well received. Her work includes prose, poetry, songs, musicals, Orff orchestrations as well as monologues with original music based on women in the Bible. This is her first published children’s book.
