…But now as we sit here all bundled up wanting to speak out LOUD, there is no SOUND being uttered from our lips. Silence is all around us. We are alone here with only our thoughts and feelings, no SOUND! So, we have come to realize that Susie and the two of us are one and the same. There isn’t any sound without Susie’s presence in the room. There will not be anything heard from us unless Susie speaks first. How sad. We thought all this time that our voices were our own. Well, on some levels it is our “unique” voices; our voices and Susie’s voice are distinctly different. We know that. We won’t be able to truly come alive without Susie being a part of our lives. We are so grateful for all her love and what she does to bring us alive, even if it’s just for a few brief moments.

About the Author
Susan McKallor is a newly published author who resides in Crofton, Maryland with a family of stuffed animals. As a young child she began talking to all of her stuffed friends as though they were real. After a fashion each stuffed animal developed a distinctive voice, and through her imagination they began to talk back to her. Most of the stories are inter-woven with her life. In fact, she plays the part of Susie in most of them. She would like to introduce you to her newest character from “Coup Finds Bigger Brother “Kooper with a “K”.
