The Caravan of Life

Consciousness “Authority tells man. Divinity unfolds within.” Akumana very pleased to what you call reassemble the wandering caravan. This caravan that we all share and begin to understand through an inquiry into the nature of man’s two states of being. His mortal, his beastly state, his animal state, his great enemy, the illusion of himself, and the possibility for the discovery of his inner being, the Christos, the real being, the spiritual man. The man who over the centuries has struggled to emerge from the ashes of his own self-undoing. So this caravan, together, that we all share, is upon the conquest of knowledge. And as we ascend this steep winding trail to another level, or another viewpoint of understanding, hopefully we together will shed a little light on the nature of man, God and the universe and the various roles that you play in the divine drama of man. For many years, many generations, thousands of years to be exact, there has existed for man a certain knowledge. There has been certain words written about this knowledge of man. There have been mystery plays, enacted by great thespians over the years. The tragedies and the comedies of life. These are all teachings. These are all what you call truths, buried in the archives of time. So, you see, for many centuries, there has existed for man an aspect of knowledge that is available for man to begin to make an inquiry into this whole phenomena of his being, and it’s been very esoteric. Now, let us clarify here the word “esoteric.” Now, when Akumana speaks the word “esoteric” or someone else who is teaching, or someone else who is what you call describing for your own edification, certain approach to knowledge, and they use the word “esoteric” begin to re-evaluate this, give you a new foundation. You know, when you hear certain words, certain fantasies arise in your thinking. You begin to think of dark and mysterious fantasies and illusions and you think of faraway places in the Himalayan Mountains. You think of all these strange oddities which have all been impregnated in your mentation over the many years. The word “esoteric” in essence, is simply hidden. Concealed. It is not because you can’t have the availability of it, you see, it’s because you’ve never looked at it. You only see those things that you choose to focus your attention on, that’s the marvel, you know, of knowledge. That’s the marvel, you know, of God. It reveals itself only when you chose to focus your attention on something. And what you don’t focus your attention on, is most obviously very esoteric. It’s concealed. Unrevealed. So, you see, these esoteric things are only simply redirecting the focusing of your attention onto something. So there is available a certain aspect of knowledge that the teachers can only give to man which is what you call a guideline, a map, a chart. If you’re going to make a great difficult journey through the bush, and there are many trails and many pitfalls and mountains, it’s very best you have a chart, a map, to navigate with, some truth. These teachings, they are like your roadmap, your chart. They set the course for your internal and external observation, your journey. So that all they can do, you see, is to spread it out for your mentation and your experimentation and your discovery. When you have then done the work, such as you are in the caravan, you have begun to put into a living substance these values and you see, they’re no longer just theories. They are no longer living substance these values and you see, they’re no longer just theories. They are no longer hypothesis, they’re no longer speculations and, above all, you see, they go far out of the realm of philosophy. Because you know, those things have kept man stark naked and in a state of ignorance for thousands of years. All the philosophy in the world is to no avail until a man such as yourself mounts upon the back of truth and he bridles it and he holds the reins in his hand and he goes step by step over the path and discovers for himself through the working, the living, the trusting, of these ideas. He integrates them into a part of his being and then you see, it’s no longer philosophy. It’s no longer theory. It begins to become something of a great treasure. It’s yours, it’s your truth. It’s your discovery, you and the Father working together. And then you no longer have to talk about it because you see, you’re living it, you’re being it. You become truth. You become love. You become goodness. Now, we have established together a caravan, yes? A caravan which takes us to all the valleys of learning, takes us into another mountaintop to look over the horizon of man’s accomplishments, to go down into and explore other valleys, and that together, as a caravan, all of you and Akumana now work together to explore, to keep all the goods and the cargo, all of this working together, like a rope, each tied together, and exploring man’s mind, man’s psyche, man’s soul. Now, we will proceed with another approach here. One of these peculiarities that you begin to discover in the world is that the world around you begins to look upon you differently. There’s something about you a little different that they can’t quite put their finger on. They want to be in your company. They want to walk around you. They find you interesting. They might find your face looking a little different. Something in your presence, it’s a food, it’s a light, you see, you’ve fed that infant within, that hidden being within the soul, you’re beginning to work with it. You’re letting it grow, you’re taking care of it. You’re being precious and tender to it, like you would a new born infant, and of course that’s the life of the being, that the real being and of course it does indeed have an attraction on others and they come to you. And then something begins to happen, very gradually you see the more lights there are, inner lights, inner beings within you, the more the darkness disappears. Enlightenment
