Jamie sat on a bench in the park, miserably watching the other children play. Suddenly, he heard a voice, “Hello, Jamie.” Jamie looked around in surprise but didn’t see anyone. “Over here, behind the trees,” said the voice. Jamie got up and went behind the trees where he saw the most curious thing. There stood a cheetah with a wide grin on his face.

About the Author
Rebecca began her writing journey penning stories for her siblings to read. Later, she moved on to telling tales both long and short to her own children. The Cheetah who played Catch is her first published children’s book.
