There are many options for high school graduates and GED holders, but do you know what they are? Do you know what will be expected of you as you pursue education beyond high school? Choosing the right option for the student and family is a complex decision. This book provides information about those choices, things to think about as you make them, and the expectations that follow your decision.
About the Author
I have worked in higher education for over ten years both on the business side of student accounts and as a faculty member. I can also honestly say that if I had known then what I know now, I would have made some very different decisions in my own pursuit of higher education. In working with students over the years, I have realized that the reason behind many of their decisions, both good and bad, is a lack of information. Students take on a significant responsibility personally, academically, and financially when enrolling for college; yet so many enroll without understanding what will be expected of them. I live in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, with the love of my life. I am working on the last leg of my own educational journey in pursuit of a doctorate in education, which I am scheduled to complete in 2016.
