The Conquest of Zumarce

“THE CONQUEST OF ZUMARCE” A tale for children and aging children This fantastic, Fiction story is centered around the “INFINITY STONE.” The most Amazing and sought after stone in all the land. The bearers of this magic stone are protected by its power. The Zumarcians (The inhabitants of Zumarce) have possession of the stone. It keeps them from illness or injury, and gives them life everlasting. They are completely safe as long as they have the infinity stone. Therefore, they guard it constantly. The people in the surrounding villages, especially those who live in Devonshire, which is a quaint little place located over a hill looking down on this strange place. They must get in to the purple land and inside of the large center dome where the stone is kept, and take it from the Zumarcians. That is almost impossible because the Zumarcians eat humans! If they don’t get the stone away from them, they will not be able to conquer the place and rid the land of these horrible beasts. There is a king, a ruler of sorts in the land of Zumarce, his name is Luminar, he has lights down his back which are ever changing shades of purple, when he gets angry his lights get brighter, and when he is sad or weak, or tired, they get very dim. He lives in the large center dome where the stone is kept. He has fury purple guards who protect the stone and serve him. A natural part of Zumarce, are the glorious lights that illuminate from the tops of the domes they are beautiful and all shades of purple, they whirl around and reach way up to the sky. They can be seen every night. People from miles around go to the top of the hill to watch them. The town of Devonshire is where warm and loving people live and work and they respect and believe in their King, Penindown. Penindown is a young handsome king. He cares about his people and he is always thinking of ways to conquer Zumarce. He has a short, chubby little servant named TOTUM. Totum is always running as fast as his little legs can carry him. He keeps the king amused, with his crazy antics. He and Penindown are very close friends. There is a holy man, a healer, a wizard, a secret cave and even a griffin in this story. And many other interesting characters. The surrounding villages also want to see the land of Zumarce destroyed! There is a large town named Topaz, and others like oxbow, and Lamsdwarf, that are willing to help in the conquest of Zumarce. This is a fun, exciting, humorous, romantic, adventure that the readers will remember for a long time. You will feel many emotions while reading the conquest, suspense, fear, elation, and, of course, you will love the “circle of life,” that is what this story brings together throughout; The infinity stone and the circle of life. There are six people in the circle`: The King, Penindown, his bride, Sontra, his servant Totum, and Totum’s bride Antria, the wizard, Lolama, and his life mate, jewel, are all brought together by many miracles and Believing in believing.
