About the Book
Patricia’s fictional account of the possible life of Jesus before the beginning of His ministry contains stories of people He met as a young person who later in His ministry became a part of His life in the New Testament of the Bible and looks into family life as HIs family grows up. We meet Mary and Joseph, and Jesus’ brothers (as named in the Bible), and His sisters. He meets: Mary, her sister Martha, and their brother Lazarus. Later Jesus raises Lazarus from the dead. James and John the sons of Zebedee. James and John became His disciples. Patricia tells us that Zebedee is one of her favorite people! Barabas the thief spent the night in Jesus’ home. Later Barabas was released and Jesus was nailed to a cross. The book is full of stories about daily life; school, chores, the carpenter shop, and life with family and friends and celebrations of the major festivals! These stories and so many more show us what life was like. There are good happenings, bad happenings, and everyday experiences giving us a look at real life and real family interactions in Jesus’ day.
About the Author
Patricia Griffin Dunlop has spent her life in South St Paul, Minnesota, where she raised three sons and a daughter, all of whom live in Minnesota. She is the oldest of seven sisters and loves to sing and do almost any work outdoors.
