About the Author
Folkert Cramer was born in Germany in 1944 in a little town called Borstel. The family immigrated to Canada in 1953 and settled in the Peace River country of Northern Alberta. It was always Folk’s fathers wish to establish a farm. The independence of owning land and machinery was his driving force. In those earlier days Folk went to school in a small country school in Woking, Alberta. He finally ended up in Fairview attending college. From there he went to Edmonton and found that he had a love for merchandising. He married and had two children. Years later, he was transferred to Vancouver and settled into a life as a family man. After a successful career in real estate he decided that his father’s story needed to be preserved. “Going Home” was his first published book and a book very close to his heart.
