. He said the Mayor had a call from somebody in D.C. who’s concerned the guy may be trying to rouse people into a revolt of some kind. “CIA?” “Who knows? From what we’ve found out, I think it’s unlikely he’s pushing for a revolution, but the people in D.C. might be a bit paranoid, as in worried about the next election, so they called the Mayor. I gather they want to measure the public’s reaction to Brother James’s message to see if it might be something they might want to use or comment on publically. “After the call, the mayor contacted me and the brown stuff that the ones rolling it like to say doesn’t stink, rolled it downhill to me. You know what I’m saying, don’t you?” It was Bishop’s turn to laugh. “I do. I try to avoid hanging around at the bottom of hills. I’m a magnet for it.”

About the Book
Trevor Tyson sold his successful software company for twenty million to a Las Vegas company including all programs he develops for three years afterwards, a condition Tyson wants to avoid since he has two software programs he wants to market. To distract the buyer, he becomes a “street preacher” calling himself Brother James. He does it in style using a marketing company with Hollywood experience. His “message” sounds like he’s advocating revolution, getting Washington’s attention which asks Chief Wasserman of the San Diego police department for a report. Bishop Bone, in town speaking to California police officers, is asked by the Chief for his opinion. He agrees and inadvertently becomes part of a media report which causes his bank clients to end their legal relationship with him. When he tries to correct the mistake, he becomes involved in Tyson’s murder and the attempt to add him to the list.
About the Author
Robert G. Rogers was born into hard times in Mississippi. During his tour of duty in the Army, he worked in an intelligence gathering capacity. He graduated from Mississippi State with a degree in electrical engineering and later with honors from the USC law school. He opened his own practice. After passing the NY bar, he earned an LLM from Tulane University and began representing lending and financial institutions responsible for the kinds of problems he describes in his books. During book breaks, he handcrafts wooden bowls, plays tennis and mangles a guitar. He spends time at his home on the Leaf River in Moselle, MS and in La Jolla, CA.
