The story centers around a young man named Bob Brooks who was drawn into an Unwanted" encounter with the "Spirit world" which led to another "Unwanted encounter with the "Criminal World"
Bob served courageously as a Navy Seal" for a few years which was brought to an end by injuries received on a secret mission. He received a medical discharge and returned to civilian life. He figured he was finished with danger and adventure but boy was he wrong.
Eventually he was drawn into an encounter with the "spirits" of twelve Confederate Calvary Men whose spirits were bound by an "Unbreakable Sacred Vow" made to their mortally wounded commander concerning the safety of his wife and children who traveled from Virginia to Georgia. Their vow to him was never to return until they found the answer he so desperately needed concerning the safety of his wife and children. The twelve were killed before their mission was completed. Because of their "Unbreakable Sacred Vow" their Spirits were compelled to continue their search until the answer could be found.
After hearing their story Bob was reluctant to become involved but he found it very difficult to refuse to at least try to free those spirits from their Unbreakable Sacred Vow. Because of previous commitments he only had only a few weeks to accomplish the task. Little did he know that this adventure would lead to another "Unwanted" encounter involving the "Criminal World" which almost cost him his life. The readers will be rewarded by reading a family friendly book that encompasses "Danger"- Mystery"-Adventure"-"Romance"- and some "Humor"
Chapter fourteen relating to "Setting The Spirits Free" will lead to the climax including the final chapters that conveys the ending of the story, but the beginning of a never ending romance brought about by the "Hand Of God"

About the Book
The story is about a young man named Bobby Wayne Brooks who grew up in central Georgia. When his country was drawn into an unwanted war, he enlisted in the navy and served as a navy SEAL. During those few years, he served honorably and exemplified great courage. He received injuries on one mission that were severe enough to end his career in the SEAL program. He was offered a different assignment or a medical discharge. He took the discharge and returned to civilian life.
After those few years of fighting, he figured he had had enough excitement and dangerous activities to last a lifetime. But he soon found that his reasoning did not impact the things life had in store for him. As a civilian, he soon found himself involved with the spirit world, which was something he did not understand and really had no desire to learn. Being a Christian, he believed that when a person dies, their soul immediately goes to their eternal reward. But he had heard many stories about people having encounters with the spirits of people who had passed. He did not understand them. Neither did he question the reliability of the stories he heard. He just accepted them and moved on with his life.
As it turned out that unwanted encounter with the spirit world brought about an undesired involvement with the criminal world that could have cost him his life. But in the end, he counted the entire episode as very worthwhile since it brought about a beautiful romance that eventually led him to the love of his life, who became Mrs. Bobby Wayne Brooks. They both discovered that time was not a good measuring device when you find the one God intends for you to have.
About the Author
The author is a retired Baptist Minister whose first love is preaching followed by a deep desire to write Christian based novels suitable for all ages. This book, (his second) begins with an episode with the “Spirit world’ which brings about a dangerous encounter with criminals that has an exciting ending. That will be followed by a beautiful love story that is guided by the “heart” and not by “sexual encounters”. The readers will find this book to be suitable for all ages. Most of the characters in the book(Excluding the criminal element) are people most of us would like to have as neighbors.
The author earned his B.A. Degree from William Carey College in Hattiesburg, Mississippi, and attended two Southern Baptist Seminaries, and two years at a well known Baptist Bible College in Florida.
