The wonders and joys on the mission field never ceased as God fulfilled our schedule each day with His glorious presence, and the needs of the people were graciously met. It was truly a joy, an inner and outer elation, to see God’s miraculous power manifested in the healings and in the words of comfort that were applied as appropriate. Such elation is beyond measure or price just to experience it and to know that Almighty God would use us as His instruments of love to touch people who felt forsaken and sometimes even worthless. Nothing on this earth is comparable to the feeling of God’s deep love and compassion for all people, created by Him in His image and for fellowship with Him. Oh, that all mankind would turn to the one who created them and realize His divine love and plans he has for them – heaven on earth. We are his children to whom He extends His love beyond measure, but we must accept His love. He sacrificed His son Jesus on the cross for our sins; that all who believe, accept and confess His sacrifice for us, might be rid of the burdens of sin and free to fellowship with God our Father. These lessons learned are to help prepare the readers for work of the ministry that we all encounter and are called to do as we follow the Shepard down the path he has chosen for us.

About the Book
Lessons learned on the Mission Field draws from varied experiences of Carl’s years in the army and the mission field to expose hindrances to the relationship between humans and God. These lessons illustrate how to renew an intimate relationship with God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit, which is of ultimate concern to the many that may have slipped or fallen by the wayside. The purpose of the first book, A Challenge to Live, was to bring people back to the Lord. The need is greater, as we are approaching catastrophic times in which only the Father, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit can provide what is needed. His security, safety, sustenance, guidance, joy, peace, and harmony are and will continue to be desperately needed. We must reach him now while he is knocking at our door.
About the Author
Carl’s experiences in twenty six years as an Army Officer followed by forty years on the mission field have given him a unique perspective to share the Lessons Learned on the Mission Field. His military service in both command and staff positions at many levels of authority included working with civilian and military in the United States and many foreign countries. His time in the Pentagon, as a Battalion commander at Fort Hood and assignments in France, Germany, Taiwan, Vietnam and Iran are all noteworthy in the plan God developed in his life. As a missionary, Carl continued to interface with thousands of people from all walks of life in Mexico, Peru, Hong Kong, Singapore, China and other points along the way. His life time of endeavors with their near death experiences and miraculous conclusions will have you laughing, sitting on the edge of your seat and on your knees.
