Sharee and Leah’s story begins when life was a little different than it is now. It is the late 1970’s and so many things are changing, especially for Sharee. Sharee and her mother are starting a new life. Sharee’s mother just married a wonderful man that would be Sharee’s step-father and they are now moving from the city to the country.
About a year after the big move to the country Mom and Dad told Sharee that she was going to be a big sister! Sharee is so excited, you know the kind of excitement that you feel on your birthday or on Christmas… well she is that kind of excited.
Months later, Sharee is expecting a baby sister any day now and the anticipation was built all the way up to the tippity top of her head.

About the Book
My experiences with my sister inspired me to write this book for a fun walk down memory lane. This book is based on experiences that I shared with my big sister growing up and how we are very close even with a ten-year age gap between us. My biological father is her stepfather, but that never mattered to us.
About the Author
My name is Leesha Ann Stanford and I always loved to write. I have been writing since I could spell and I started out with poetry then I moved on to short stories. I spent my childhood having adventures as many children do, but mine were always with a twist as I have a sister, ten years older than me who also loves adventure and laughter as much as I do. I now have a six year old son and who loves stories and books… Go figure. My son always wants me to make up stories about various characters, but these characters are based on me and my big sis.
