About the Author

Dr. Kent Voigt is an overcomer. Early life-threatening situations taught him perseverance and sculpted his character into the man he is today. He began a career in broadcasting, and through life's twists and turns, he found his true calling, working with people to help them become more adept at managing difficult situations. He considers this one of the first problem solving books that turn true stories into practical advice to help readers manage stress more effectively and overcome difficult situations. He believes when people set their minds right and do the required work, they can achieve great things. Dr. Voight holds university degrees in social science, communication and a doctorate in education. He has been a teacher, school leader, and university professor. Most importantly, he is blessed to be married for fifty years with two remarkable daughters and grandchildren. He is an ordained minister and currently serves as a guest minister in several churches and a part-time hospital chaplain. He has helped hundreds of children and adults deal with personal challenges, spiritual and critical concerns, including life and death issues.
