Dad took a big piece of squid
and threaded it a couple times
onto the hook
and tossed it into the water.
This time the little fish
stayed back.
A red Cuberra Snapper darted out
from underneath a ledge.
It inhaled the bait
and the line came taunt.
Dad helped Fisher hold onto the pole
as the fish tested the drag.
It pulled out some of the line,
and the pole was doubling over.
