My friends, this world is already full of broken homes, of fathers who desert their families and leave behind only pain, suffering, and heartache for abandoned children and mothers.
This continues to destabilize the foundation of the family, and leaves Thousands of innocent children without a chance to realize their hopes and dreams. This has caused our community to be out of balance, because the pillar of authority has collapsed.
I do not want any child to grow up with parental poverty, or with a void in their heart due to lack of guidance and love from the father, who is meant to be the supreme authority of the home. I also no longer want to see children growing up without a mother because the woman has abandoned her post, and fails to bear her responsibility.
The objective of this book is to contribute to the restoration of God’s institution; to reconcile fathers and children, and children with their fathers; to reunite families; to resist and rebuke the devastating enemy — divorce; to recover and renew weakened family ties and resolve parental and marital conflicts.
This is a book suitable for all ages: seniors, adults, young-adults, teenagers, and children irrespective of race, religion, or ethnic origin. This writing is for those facing the threat of growing out of balance. It warns against falling into this perilous trap. These are 27 chapters designed to help motivate, manage, cultivate, defend, develop and enliven esteem for marital and familial love.

About the Book
Juliana is a young woman preparing to give birth to her fourth child in Curaçao. Concerned about her husband, Chepie, who lacks a father figure in his own life, Juliana attempts to counsel him about the importance of prayer and faith, trusting he will not follow in his father’s footsteps.
When her labor pains begin, Chepie takes Juliana to the hospital. But unlike the good and dutiful husband she hopes he has become, Chepie heads to the bar next door, drowns his sorrows with strangers, and disappears at the end of the night. As Juliana wrestles with feelings of shame, deception, sadness, and rage, she seeks strength from God as she brings their son, Chepitu, into the world. While she sets out on a faithful path she hopes leads to forgiveness. Chepitu matures into a young man who seeks answers to life’s deepest questions and wonders about the father he has never met. Together with divine guidance, Chepitu and his mother must attempt to overcome their pain and accept that even though the answers sometimes never come, forgiveness will.

About the Author
Welton “Papi” Esprit is the overseer of The New Song churches in Holland, Kenya, and The Republic of Congo. He is the Senior pastor of The New Song Church in Curaçao. Welton and his wife, Maurina, are also the founders of the Immanuel Nursery & Primary School, The New Song College and The New Song Radio & TV. Together, they have three sons, six grandchildren, adopted children and grandchildren and over seventy foster children.
