Country Sean suddenly realized that he was looking at a Leprechaun! The little man was mending shoes because, you see, Leprechauns are reputed to be cobblers to the “Little People”. Now there is a legend in Ireland that says if you can grasp a Leprechaun and keep him in your sight then he cannot disappear until he grants you a wish. With this in mind Sean resolved to catch the little fella and get his wish!

Leprechauns are little men in green suits who roam the fields of Irish imagination and can never be trusted to fulfill the promises they make no matter how sincere they seem to be.
About the Author
Eamonn (Edward J.) Coffey grew up in Ireland in the 1950s and came to the US in 1970. As the middle child in a family of 5, his youth was filled with stories of Banshees, Fairies and, of course, Leprechauns.
