The Case For National Divorce, One Christian's Perspective

The overall purpose of this writing is not to encourage unity, compromise and harmony. As I stated earlier, we are a nation unrelentingly unequally yoked. I propose dividing America in order to avoid an inevitable civil war, setting clear and precise boundaries of demarcation. America is, after all, physically large enough to divide and I believe we should. I’m not desirous of The Left’s vision of division based on racial strife and hatred, but rather, I envision division based on moral proclivities and political ideologies. I find that these characteristics are not mutually exclusive. Benjamin Franklin Biographer Henry Stuber wrote: “A nation of well-informed men, who have been taught to know and prize the rights which God has given them, cannot be enslaved.” It would be different if The Left didn’t have the mainstream media as its propaganda arm. It would be different if We The People had fair and objective reportage from which we could make informed decisions about our nation, our leaders and their policies, but sadly we do not. Otherwise, we could just let the disunion process of Federalism work things out at its own pace. To a degree, it is happening now, just not fast enough or permanently enough. The 2020 election cycle was egregiously tainted. President 45 won, of course, however, all of our institutions refused to honestly, adequately and objectively review the election results, so an election rife with fraud was certified and due to the pandemic, a bastardized electoral process was born and now exists forevermore. This is how we got our corrupt, godless, intellectually challenged sock puppet of a president, and America has been on a deliberately designed downward trajectory ever since.
