Along the way, an outmatched, but supremely convicted Michael is led to encounter an unfolding array of ruthless villains. Villains he must battle in order to spread Jubilee's message to the world.
Metaphorically told, each enemy and suspense filled episode that Michael faces in this twisting, love inspired quest to transform the world is artfully adapted to an illicit list of current day evildoers. Loan sharks, corrupt politicians, drug lords and crime traffickers, sex slave masters, and even an extreme terrorist group all must be dealt with if Michael is to succeed on his mission to share Jubilee’s precious gift. Each conquest is more dramatic and thrilling than the last and every victory is made possible only by Jubilee's gift. About the Book
The Mysterious Life and Message of Jubilee the Cat begins in the most mundane of ways. A fifty-year-old man, Michael, crosses paths with a stray cat. Naming him Jubilee, Michael soon discovers the feline’s strange power to inspire him to recover long-forgotten memories of his many relationships, the highlights and tragedies of his personal life, and the pets he had treasured in his youth. Then, as mysteriously as he arrived, Jubilee disappeared, leaving Michael with a strange and wondrous gift.
As his transformed life unfolds, Michael passes through a series of encounters with a string of villains, each more ruthless than the last. Keenly sensing his calling to share the life-changing gift he received from Jubilee, Michael faces each adversary, working to help the world become a better place one changed life at a time.
About the Author
Michael A. Puchades practices insurance law in Miami, Florida. The firstborn son of Cuban immigrants, he earned his law degree from Florida State University. He is married and has three children. The Mysterious Life and Message of Jubilee the Cat is his second book.
